Job summary

Sellick Partnership is seeking an Employment Lawyer to join a reputable organisation in Bolton on a locum basis while permanent recruitment proceeds. The role offers hybrid working and flexible rates of pay on a 6-month rolling contract, with potential for full-time coverage.

Some attendance in Bolton may be expected. The successful candidate will conduct claims and litigation, provide advocacy in tribunals and courts, advise colleagues on legal issues affecting teachers in the region, and

Qualifications

• Experience conducting claims and litigation.

Responsibilities of the Employment Lawyer include:

• To be responsible for the conduct of claims and litigation
• To undertake the representation, including advocacy when appropriate in the tribunals and courts, internal hearings and other procedures when required
• To provide advice and support to colleagues on legal issues affecting teachers in the region
• To contribute to the training of staff

The successful candidate will ideally be able to undertake this role on a full-time basis, however candidates seeking a part-time working pattern will be considered. Ideally some attendance in Bolton.
