Job summary

Sellick Partnership is working with a well established law firm to provide locum cover for an Employment Solicitor. The role offers hybrid working from Lancashire and is to cover a temporary period while recruiting permanently, with ASAP start.

The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload in employment law, including advisory work and litigation, with responsibilities such as advising on disciplinaries, grievances, redundancy and TUPE, and managing tribunal claims.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
• Strong employment law advisory and litigation experience.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently and hit the ground running.
• Available to start at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Advising on employment law matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, redundancy and TUPE.
• Managing employment tribunal claims, including unfair dismissal and discrimination.
• Handling contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
