Employment Solicitor – Legal 500
Salary: £40-65,000 DOE and PQE
Location: Bristol – Hybrid
OVERVIEW
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established Legal 500 firm in Bristol as an Employment Solicitor. The position offers a challenging and rewarding environment for professionals passionate about employment law. While the focus is on expense insurer files, the role also provides opportunities to engage in non-contentious work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Advising clients on potential Employment Tribunal claims
* Running a case load of Employment Tribunal claims, including drafting pleadings, drafting witness statements, negotiating settlements and advising on settlement agreements, and instructing counsel or advocates as necessary
* Complying with insurer service level agreements
* Supporting the employment team with non-contentious work, including provision of contractual documentation, handbooks and other employment documentation, together with provision of reactive and proactive employment advice to commercial clients, including telephone advice
* Participating in marketing initiatives, including writing updates on employment law and providing training sessions to clients
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Qualified solicitor, Barrister or chartered Legal Executive. NQ+
* Experience handling own caseload within employment law
* Ability to take full responsibility for cases and strategy (subject to supervisory and group support)
