Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Law Costs Draftsperson / Costs Lawyer. The individual will be responsible for preparing and negotiating bills of costs, costs budgets, and points of dispute. Additional tasks include attending Costs Case Management Conferences, Detailed Assessment Hearings, and mediation sessions. The role requires regular consultations with solicitors and other legal professionals to manage costs issues effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing bills of costs and costs budgets
• Strong skills in negotiation and drafting of legal costs documentation
• Legal research skills and attention to detail
