Job summary

Lewisham Council is seeking an Employment & Health Partnership Manager to lead the Work & Health Coaching Team across council and partner sites in Lewisham. The role is hybrid, with 3 days in the office, and focuses on delivering integrated employment and health support to residents.

You will manage budgets, build referral pathways with NHS organisations, and ensure grant compliance and impact reporting while coordinating with local partners to maximise outcomes for the community.

Qualifications

• Experience working with or alongside NHS organisations, particularly primary care.
• Knowledge and experience in delivering and monitoring public sector grant funded services.
• Experience working with or alongside a local authority employment support team or similar programmes.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day line management responsibility for the team of Work & Health Coaches.
• Liaising with businesses, community organisations and education providers to ensure quality referral pathways.
• Developing and implementing evaluation and impact measures to meet grant contract requirements.
• Managing programme tools including planning, risk assessment, reporting and budgeting.
• Oversee caseload and operational delivery of support by the team to residents.
• Manage partnership activities and ensure delivery within budget and to timescales.

Introduction

Good Afternoon,

I am currently representing Lewisham Council who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience.

We are looking for a Employment & Health Partnership Manager this role will be based at: SE6 4RU, Will be Leemore Centre and community sites eg GP practices Hybrid 3 days in office.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day line management responsibility for the team of Work & Health Coaches.
• Liaising with businesses, community organisations, education and learning providers to ensure quality referral pathways into and out of the Lewisham Works programme are available to residents. This includes oversight of Multi-Disciplinary Teams between Work & Health Coaches and system partner organisations.
• Developing and implementing evaluation and impact measures to meet national and local grant contract requirements and ensure reflective and improving practice.
• Effectively using programme management tools such as planning, risk assessment and reporting, budget and resource management, procurement, communication, issues logging and progress reporting.
• Oversee the overall caseload and operational delivery of support by the team of Work & Health Coaches to residents.
• Managing partnership activities, ensuring the internal delivery team works effectively with other commissioned programmes and local support.
• Managing delegated budgets and resources, managing risks, and ensuring programmes are delivered on time and within budget. This includes monitoring day-to-day spend and producing compliant reporting for the external funder.
