Job summary

Lc Legal, Manchester-based, is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor (4yrs+ PQE) to join its growing employment team. You will handle a varied caseload across contentious and non-contentious matters and work alongside Partners in a supportive environment.

You will advise on whistleblowing, discrimination, restrictive covenants, TUPE, settlements, and strategic HR issues for senior executives and boards, with hybrid and flexible working.

Qualifications

• 4+ years PQE in Employment Law
• Experience across contentious and non-contentious matters
• Experience advising HR leaders and boards

• Handle high-value and complex employment matters across contentious and non-contentious work
• Advise on senior executive appointments and exits
• Manage restructuring, redundancies and TUPE
• Draft and negotiate settlement agreements
• Advise HR leaders, senior management and boards on strategic employment issues
• Injunction applications and other complex employment issues

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Employment Solicitor at 4yrs+ PQE to join their expanding team.

The opportunity

You’ll work on a varied and interesting caseload across both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including:

• High-value Employment Tribunal claims, including whistleblowing, discrimination and unfair dismissal
• Senior executive appointments and exits
• Restrictive covenants and confidential information matters
• Restructures, redundancies and TUPE
• Settlement agreements and day-to-day employment advisory work
• Urgent injunction applications and other complex employment issues
• Advising HR leaders, senior management and boards on strategic employment matters

You’ll have genuine responsibility for your own caseload while working alongside experienced Partners and colleagues within a supportive and collaborative team.
