Lusona Consultancy (Group) Limited is seeking an Employment Associate or Senior Associate (4+ PQE) to join its Employment team in Edinburgh or Glasgow with hybrid working. The role involves advising employers on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters and taking ownership of a diverse caseload.

You will manage own caseload, develop client relationships, and contribute to the growth of the practice through BD and training activities.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with strong employment law experience.
• Ability to manage own workload with minimal supervision.

Responsabilités

• Managing Employment Tribunal claims, including drafting ET3 responses and appearing at hearings.

• Delivering employment law training and legal updates to clients.

Employment Associate or Senior Associate (4+ PQE)

An established Scottish law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor (4+ years' PQE) to join its growing Employment team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to take ownership of a varied caseload, work directly with a diverse client base, and play a key role in the continued development of a successful practice.

The Role

You will advise employers across a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, providing pragmatic and commercially focused solutions. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will manage your own caseload while building strong and lasting client relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing Employment Tribunal claims, including drafting ET3 responses and appearing at hearings.
• Providing day-to-day HR and employee relations advice.
• Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies and procedures.
• Advising on settlement agreements.
• Supporting the employment aspects of corporate transactions.
• Delivering employment law training and legal updates to clients.
• Contributing to business development and the growth of the practice.

About You

You will be a qualified solicitor with strong employment law experience and the confidence to handle your own workload with minimal supervision.

You will also possess:

• A minimum of 4 years' PQE in employment law.
• Experience advising on both contentious and non-contentious matters.
• Strong client relationship and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness and a practical approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• A collaborative and proactive attitude.
