Job summary

Frasia Wright Associates is recruiting an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Employment team in Glasgow or Edinburgh. The role offers exposure to high-profile, cross‑sector matters for employer clients and a clear path for professional development.

You will advise on a broad range of employment issues, including contentious and non-contentious matters, TUPE transfers, restructurings and HR policies, with a supportive, national firm environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitors with experience in employment law.
• Experience advising employer clients on contentious and non-contentious matters is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Advising employers on a wide range of employment law issues, including disciplinary matters, grievances, restructurings and redundancies.
• Managing Employment Tribunal claims and supporting clients through all stages of litigation.
• Providing employment law input on TUPE transfers, corporate transactions and outsourcing projects.
• Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, handbooks, policies, settlement agreements and other employment documentation.
• Delivering practical advice and training to clients on employment law developments and workplace best practices.
• Working closely with colleagues across the Employment team on complex and high-profile matters.

This is an excellent opportunity for an employment lawyer to join a nationally recognised practice, working alongside leading employment specialists on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters for an impressive client base spanning the retail, financial services, public sector, telecoms and energy industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Experience advising employer clients on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters would be advantageous.
