Job summary

Reed in Partnership's Employability Division is recruiting an Employment Adviser to support long-term unemployed participants with tailored action plans, one-to-one guidance, CV writing, interview preparation and skills development.

You will meet with jobseekers, collaborate with local employers, meet performance targets, and promote the Restart Scheme within the community, with flexible scheduling and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Coaching and mentoring experience.
• Customer-facing experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Willingness to travel locally.
• Minimum of 2 A-Levels or Level 3 Diploma.
• GCSE English Language (B) or Level 2 literacy.

Responsibilities

• Support a caseload of long-term unemployed jobseekers with tailored action plans.
• Provide one-to-one guidance including CV writing and interview preparation.
• Meet and exceed KPIs and performance targets.
• Collaborate with local employers to identify opportunities.
• Signpost participants to internal and external support for barriers (health, housing, financial).
• Promote Restart Scheme within the local community.
