Do you have a background in sales, employer engagement, or recruitment? If yes, then this could be the role for you. We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate as an Employer Engagement Officer. The role involves engaging with employers to secure work placements and jobs for our young learners with Learning disabilities and/or Autism in the Kingston area.

As an Employer Engagement Officer, you will lead employer engagement for the Kingston team, building relationships with employers across various industries to secure work placements and negotiate paid employment for supported interns. Interns are supported by Skills Coaches, and you will oversee their work to ensure successful placements and progression into paid work.

  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate records using IT systems
  • Employer engagement and marketing experience preferred
