About the Role

The Impact Team plays a vital role by working with other knowledge exchange teams to support research impact. Responsibilities include:

  • Fostering a research impact culture through training and networking
  • Supporting the development, evidence collection, and evaluation of research impact
  • Managing systems for impact analysis and evidence gathering
  • Administering the Queen Mary Impact Fund and Impact Acceleration Account
  • Preparing impact-related materials for the Research Excellence Framework (REF)

About You

This role is ideal for someone experienced in supporting research impact or knowledge exchange, particularly within the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. The candidate should have an interest in research impact and preferably prior experience in a similar role. The position offers opportunities for career development within a vibrant team.

About the Department

The Impact Team, part of the Research Services Directorate, is based at Queen Mary Dept W near Whitechapel, with meetings at Mile End and occasional external travel. The team operates in a hybrid model with at least two days on campus weekly.
