Job summary

KM Recruitment is seeking an Employer Engagement Advisor for Apprenticeships. You will win new apprenticeship business by building strong employer partnerships and promoting sector specialist programmes, driving learner starts.

This field-based role requires proactive relationship-building to convert conversations into commercial opportunities and achieve revenue targets. Home/field based with UK travel, a driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in employer engagement / business development for Apprenticeships.
• Ability to overcome objections and work towards targets.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to vehicle.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, approach and engage employers to promote Apprenticeship programmes and convert opportunities into learner starts.
• Develop new business via referrals, enquiries, networking, events and partnerships.
• Build and manage partnerships with clients to introduce Apprenticeships across their workforce.
• Understand employer needs and recommend suitable Apprenticeship solutions.
• Own the sales pipeline and work towards revenue and learner start targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth enrolment processes.
• Raise the provider's profile at employer meetings and industry events.
• Monitor performance, share insights and stay updated on policy and funding changes.

Salary: £32,000 + £6k OTE

Type: Full Time, Permanent

We’re looking for a proactive Employer Engagement professional to promote our client’s specialist Apprenticeship programmes, build strong employer partnerships and generate exciting new apprentice opportunities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on developing relationships, spotting opportunities and turning conversations into commercial success.

What will you be doing?

• Proactively identify, approach and engage with employers to showcase the benefits of sector-specialist Apprenticeship programmes and convert opportunities into learner starts.
• Develop new business through referrals, incoming enquiries, networking, events and local partnerships, while identifying and pursuing your own opportunities.
• Build lasting partnerships with new and existing clients, maximising opportunities to introduce Apprenticeships across their workforce.
• Understanding business needs, conduct organisational needs analysis to identify employer requirements and recommend suitable Apprenticeship solutions.
• Take ownership of your sales pipeline, manage your activity through the CRM system and work towards ambitious revenue and learner start targets.
• Workcollaboratively with internal teams to ensure a smooth, accurate and compliant learner enrolment process.
• Raising the profile of the organisation at employer meetings, networking opportunities and industry events, positioning the provider as a trusted Apprenticeship partner.
• Monitor sales performance, share business insights and keep up to date with changes to Apprenticeship policy, funding and sector expectations.

Essential Criteria:

• Must have experience of working withinan employer engagement / businessdevelopmentrole, promoting Apprenticeship programmes.
• Ability to overcome objections.
• Experience of working towards and achieving targets.
• Excellent communication, administrative and organisationalskills.
• Confident, friendly and professional manner, who is willing to learn.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Must be flexible with travel.
