Job summary

Brook Street in Sevenoaks is seeking an Employee Relations and Wellbeing Advisor. The role offers hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days in the Sevenoaks office and a salary of £35,500 per annum for 37 hours per week.

You will support managers and colleagues on employee relations and wellbeing matters, manage ER case loads end-to-end, monitor sickness and collaborate with Occupational Health. A CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience is preferred, with strong HR systems and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent HR experience.
• Strong confidence with HR information and case management systems.
• Excellent working relationships skills and ability to collaborate.
• English and Maths Level 2 or equivalent.
• Proactive, fair-minded approach to risk and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert, risk-aware support to managers and colleagues on ER and wellbeing concerns.
• Manage a caseload of ER matters end-to-end, logging queries and escalating when needed.
• Monitor sickness and carry out sickness reviews with Occupational Health.
• Assist managers with complex sickness absence and health-related capability discussions.
• Help resolve conflicts by facilitating difficult conversations with empathy and professionalism.
• Collaborate with the People Team, supporting Strategic People Partners on bids, TUPE and redundancy.
• Gather and use ER data to support insight and continuous improvement.
