Job summary

TikTok is seeking an experienced Employee Relations specialist to join our regional team in London. You will manage complex ER cases, advise HR partners and leaders, and help shape policy and processes across the UK, France and other EMEA markets.

You will build strong partnerships with Employment Legal, deliver ER guidance and training, and drive continuous improvement while balancing legal requirements with business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant Employee Relations experience in a fast paced, complex organisation.
• Strong ER experience in the UK and France is required; experience in other EMEA markets is a plus.
• Experience working in matrix organisations and across cultures, with adaptability to change and ambiguity.
• Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills with HRBPs and leaders.
• Strong judgement, communication and problem solving skills with practical, risk-based ER advice.
• Resilient, self-motivated and capable of working independently with ownership and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consistent ER support across complex employment matters including performance, redundancy, restructuring, sickness absence, flexible working, probation and exits.
• Manage and own a complex ER case portfolio end-to-end with timely, pragmatic, risk-based advice to HR Partners and leaders.
• Provide expert ER guidance on organisational change and workforce matters balancing legal requirements and business needs.
• Partner with HRBPs and leaders to identify risks, evaluate options and recommend practical solutions.
• Maintain high standards of ER case documentation, governance, risk analysis and communications.
• Collaborate with Employment Legal and cross-functional partners to calibrate recommendations and align stakeholders on complex matters.
• Develop and deliver ER guidance, training and enablement to strengthen HRBP and leader capability.
• Lead or contribute to ER projects and policy/process improvements to strengthen the ER framework.
• Leverage ER data and trends to identify risks and drive proactive solutions for the region.
• Support a coordinated regional ER approach and share best practices across the team.
