Job summary

Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7 Employee Relations Manager to support the Employee Support and Resolution Team in Devon. The role involves managing a complex caseload of disciplinary, grievance, capability and attendance issues, working with internal and external stakeholders to drive a Just and Learning culture.

The ER Manager will liaise with legal advisers on Employment Tribunal cases and develop in-house training sessions for managers on ER topics.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in handling complex employee relations casework such as disciplinary, grievance, capability and attendance.
• Ability to manage sensitive caseloads with confidentiality and accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence managers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Advise managers on ER cases, highlight risks and develop action plans.
• Coordinate with legal advisers on Employment Tribunal matters as needed.
• Develop and deliver in-house training for managers on ER topics.
