Zachary Daniels is partnering with a leading retail business to recruit an Employee Relations Manager. This is a fully remote role with some travel for team meetings.

You will provide expert ER advice across the business, supporting managers and handling complex cases in a busy retail environment. You will review ER trends, develop clear policies, and work with the People team to ensure consistent, commercially sensible decisions.

Employee Relations Manager Leading Retail Business Fully Remote c 65,000

Zachary Daniels is partnering with a leading retail business to recruit an Employee Relations Manager.

This is a fully remote role, with travel a few times a month for team meetings. It's a great opportunity for an experienced ER professional who enjoys getting into the detail, supporting managers and finding practical solutions to people challenges.

We're looking for someone who brings sound judgement, a calm approach and the confidence to handle complex employee relations matters in a busy retail environment.

The role

You'll provide expert ER advice across the business, helping managers make fair, consistent and commercially sensible decisions. Alongside supporting complex cases, you'll look at the bigger picture, spotting recurring issues and helping improve how employee relations is managed.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and advising on complex ER cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and capability matters.

• Working closely with the wider People team to deliver a consistent approach across the business.

About you

You'll bring strong employee relations experience, ideally gained within retail or another fast-paced, multi-site business.

You’ll be comfortable managing a varied and complex caseload, balancing commercial priorities with a fair and thoughtful approach. Just as importantly, you’ll be approachable, clear in your advice and able to build trusted relationships while working remotely.

Experience coaching managers and improving ER processes would be particularly valuable.

The package

• Salary circa 65,000.
• Fully remote working.
• Travel a few times a month for team meetings.
