Job summary

Culina Group is seeking an ER Partner to lead a team of ER Specialists and deliver high-quality employee relations across the business. The role blends operational ER case management with leadership responsibilities, including coaching, capability building, inclusive culture, and strategic risk management.

You will oversee complex cases, influence ER decisions with senior stakeholders, and drive cultural change across our multi-site operations while ensuring compliant ER delivery and robust

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
• Expert knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practices.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage change.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• CIPD Level 5 or equivalent preferred.
• Experience managing ER teams and complex cases in a multi-site environment.
• Experience in tribunal management and bundle preparation.
• Confidence in handling TUPE processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop ER Specialists, providing coaching and feedback to build capability.
• Oversee complex ER cases, ensuring compliance with employment law and company policy.
• Monitor ER trends and proactively implement strategies to mitigate risk.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Legal, and senior stakeholders to influence ER decisions.
• Drive cultural change initiatives and support organisational projects related to ER.
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of ER metrics for leadership review.
• Represent ER in union consultations and negotiations where required.
• Role model company values and maintain team morale during periods of change.
• Influence development of ER policy & tools.
• Support the capability upskill of operational manager skills in ER.
