Job summary

NHS Lanarkshire is seeking an Employee Relations professional to manage a diverse caseload, delivering casework and policy advice across the organisation. You will handle attendance, conduct, grievance, capability, and bullying issues, supporting managers and investigating teams.

The role requires CIPD Associate level membership or above, and you will communicate clearly in meetings and hearings, building relationships with managers, staff, and unions.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience within a HR environment.
• Knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Support managers on conduct, capability, grievance, and attendance issues.
• Provide policy advisory support across NHS Lanarkshire.
• Represent HR at early resolution meetings and formal hearings.
• Liaise with managers, staff, Trade Unions, and HR colleagues.
