Job summary

Opus People Solutions is recruiting an experienced HR Advisor to join a busy People Services team on a 3-month contract. You will provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, performance management, and policy interpretation, supporting managers and employees to apply People Services policies fairly and consistently.

This role requires CIPD qualification (Level 5 or equivalent) and strong ER experience, with a focus on reducing risk and promoting a positive employee experience.

Qualifications

• CIPD qualified (Level 5 or equivalent).
• Proven experience handling complex Employee Relations cases.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience advising managers on performance management and people policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality HR advice and guidance to managers on a wide range of employee relations cases.
• Support performance management processes and advise on policy interpretation and best practice.
• Ensure risks associated with employee relations matters are managed effectively and professionally.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with Trade Union representatives.
• Manage and support team members, providing direction, coaching, and development.
• Support People Services Business Partners and the Employee Relations Lead with organisational change initiatives, including redundancy consultations, service efficiency reviews, and changes to terms and conditions.
• Promote employee wellbeing and contribute to a positive and inclusive working environment.
