Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced ER Advisor to provide high‑quality HR guidance to managers within the KierBAM joint venture on the Hinkley Point C project. You will support governance, casework, and compliance, acting as custodian of the central case tool and ensuring timely, accurate recording of advice, decisions and outcomes.

Working with JV partners, project leadership and client stakeholders, you will promote consistent ER practice, data‑driven insights, and effective escalation.

Qualifications

• Experience in employee relations case management within complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations best practice.
• Proven experience managing end to end complex ER cases, including disciplinary, grievance and investigation processes.
• Confidence in coaching, influencing and constructively challenging managers at all levels.
• Experience maintaining accurate ER records and using HR/ER systems.
• Ability to manage high volume ER activity in a multisite environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert employee relations advice to managers across ER matters.
• Manage cases fairly and in line with BAM policies and governance.
• Escalate complex or high-risk matters to appropriate partners.
• Record and maintain ER data accurately for reporting and governance.
• Develop productive relationships with stakeholders including Trade Unions and OH.
