Portfolio HR & Reward is supporting a public sector organisation by recruiting a People Advisor on a 12-month MAT contract. The role is 37 hours per week, hybrid working, Taunton, with a day rate of £100–£150 plus holiday pay.

You will partner with stakeholders and managers to support the resolution of complex employee relations cases by providing advice on best practice and solutions, and you will work closely with HR and OD across departments to share guidance and facilitate projects.

Formación

• Relevant degree or professional qualification or HR experience
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• CIPD member or graduate
• Fluent in English

Responsabilidades

• Advise managers and employees on employee relations matters and provide interpretations and information
• Serve as the point of contact for managers and employees regarding ER matters
• Negotiate with Trade Unions and professional bodies through regular check-ins
• Share information and best practices with internal and external contacts
• Collaborate with HR and OD across departments to support projects and maintain a network of professionals and managers

Portfolio HR & Reward is currently supporting a public sector organisation that is currently looking for a People Advisor to cover a MAT contract of 12 months.

The successful candidate will receive a day rate from £100-£150, plus holiday pay. This role is 37 hours per week Monday-Friday.

The Opportunity

Working very closely with the Strategic manager you will play a crucial role in partnering with stakeholders and manager to support the resolution of complex employee relations cases by providing advise on best practice and solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities

• By working closely with senior and service manager in different environments ranging from private to more informal one to one briefing all the way to formal hearings by providing insightful guidance and recommendations.
• Be the point of contact for managers and employees regarding employee relations matters by providing advise, interpretations, and information.
• Negotiate with Trade Union and Professional body representatives by having regulars check ins.
• Feed information and best practise with a wide range of internal and external contacts.
• Work in partnership with HR and OD across departments to maintain a network of professionals and managers by informing and facilitating project working.
