Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking an EX Map Data & Product Operations Associate to own repeatable operational processes ensuring the Employee Experience Map stays accurate and ready for use. You will coordinate data sourcing, transformation, mapping, validation, testing, and release readiness, building controls and documentation for scalable operation.

You will work with technology, analytics, and data-owner teams to improve data flow, quality, and AI-assisted processes, enabling better decision-making

Qualifications

• Strong experience in data operations, product operations, business operations, or a comparable data and product-focused role.
• Ability to source, reconcile, transform, and validate data from multiple systems and data owners.
• Advanced spreadsheet and data manipulation capability, with strong attention to mapping logic, formats, thresholds, exceptions, and auditability.
• Experience creating and operating repeatable standard operating procedures, controls, checklists, and quality-assurance processes.
• Practical experience with user acceptance testing, regression testing, test-case preparation, defect management, and release readiness.
• Ability to translate product requirements and user needs into clear operational and data requirements.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills, particularly when investigating data-quality issues or discrepancies between source, transformed, and displayed data.
• Ability to manage multiple dependencies and coordinate across product, technology, analytics, research, and data-owner teams.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills, with the ability to produce clear, structured, and audience-appropriate materials.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the sourcing of tactical datasets by establishing clear intake requirements for each source.
• Maintain a source inventory and data dictionary for all supporting files.
• Create and maintain monthly mapping files with an auditable log of changes.
• Partner with technology and data teams to evolve spreadsheet-based processes toward sustainable data connections.
• Define and execute data-quality checks for completeness, accuracy, consistency, timeliness, and validity.
• Develop, maintain, and execute data-focused test cases for releases and monthly refreshes.
• Identify where AI could reduce manual effort and lead human-review processes for AI outputs.
• Own and improve the EX Map data operating model including calendars, checklists, hand-offs, and escalation routes.
• Maintain SOPs for data sourcing, transformation, mapping, testing, and release hand-off.
• Support launch and post-launch activities including feedback capture and issue triage.
