Job summary

Gapp Search is seeking an Employee Experience & Community Engagement Specialist for a 12 month FTC with an international engineering client. You will shape how employees experience the organisation from joining through ongoing engagement, covering onboarding, engagement, university partnerships and community initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering people-focused programmes within an HR, Talent Acquisition or Employee Experience environment.
• Experience onboarding, employee engagement, university or early-careers activity, employer branding or community programmes.

Responsibilities

• Own and continually improve onboarding experience for new starters.
• Coordinate induction programmes with hiring managers to ensure employees have a strong start.
• Develop employee engagement, recognition and wellbeing initiatives.
• Gather employee feedback and use it to identify areas for improvement.
• Build relationships with universities and colleges, supporting careers fairs, internships and placement programmes.
• Develop relationships with community organisations and charitable partners.
• Coordinate volunteering, community and employee events.
• Work with Marketing and Talent Acquisition to promote the organisation as an employer.
• Help create content around careers, workplace culture and employee stories.
• Track engagement, onboarding and employer-brand activity to measure what is working.
