Job Description
We’re recruiting for an Employee Communications Manager, Transformation, to join us. You will be responsible for leading employee communications that support the delivery of L&G’s Transformation Office strategy.
What you’ll be doing:
- Defining and delivering a Transformation communications strategy that engages key audiences across L&G to support delivery of key Transformation workstreams, focusing on creating a growing, simpler, better-connected L&G.
- Developing and implementing consistent narratives and communication plans aligned with L&G’s strategy, creating high-quality materials, and reporting on progress.
- Creating and maintaining a change communications approach, coordinating activities, and working with business partners to ensure initiatives are aligned.
- Building relationships with key leaders, acting as a trusted advisor, shaping decisions, and guiding communication strategies.
- Establishing key metrics, evaluating communication impact, and ensuring they drive desired change.
- Supporting the broader Corporate Affairs function in delivering employee and corporate communication strategies.
- Ensuring communications are reviewed and approved by knowledgeable individuals, with proper record-keeping.
- Managing employee-related matters in line with policies to maximize business performance.
Who we’re looking for:
- Ability to work independently, seeking input from stakeholders internally and externally.
- Knowledge of change and transformation communications, preferably with experience in Group Functions like HR, Technology, or Finance.
- Ability to develop strategic communications translating complex requirements into actionable plans.
- Creative thinking to improve communication strategies continually.
- Strong engagement skills with leadership and senior stakeholders, establishing credibility and trust.
- Excellent writing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Significant experience in a Communications role, with a background in professional services, finance, or corporate communications.
- Experience in creating dynamic content.
