Job summary

KM Education Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Employability Tutor to deliver engaging workshops to adult learners at our centre-based site. The role focuses on CV writing, job search, interview techniques and confidence building.

You will adapt delivery to learners' needs, provide IAG, and help learners identify skills for progression. A 4-day week is offered, with permanent contract and salary £25,000–£27,000 depending on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Recognised Assessor award D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA or Level 3+ teaching qualification.
• Experience delivering engaging training/workshops in employability skills.
• Organisational skills to manage a cohort of learners.
• Prepared to undertake vetting/security clearances and have a valid driving licence.

Duties

• Deliver Employability workshops to groups of circa 10 adult learners – as part of the delivery, you will be required to support learners with CV writing, job search, interview techniques, confidence building etc.
• Deliver engaging training sessions and provide ongoing IAG to learners.
• The successful candidate will be flexible with their delivery methods, providing differentiation and be able to adapt quickly to learners needs.
• Assist learners in identifying the skills required to progress towards their career aspirations.
• The successful candidate must be engaging and able to demonstrate energy and passion to motivate / train learner to realisetheir full potential

Essential Criteria

• Hold either a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA OR Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET).
• Must have experience of delivering engaging training / workshops, within employability skills.
• Organisational skills are a must, and you will manage a cohort / caseload of learners.
• Prepared to undertake any vetting / security clearances, as required for the role.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
