Job summary

KM Recruitment is seeking an Employability Tutor / Trainer to deliver engaging employability workshops at a centre. You will support learners with CV writing, job search and interview techniques, and provide ongoing IAG to groups of around 10 adult learners.

The role requires flexibility in delivery, differentiation for different learners, and the ability to motivate students to achieve their career goals. A four-day week is offered on a permanent basis, with salary in the 25k-27k range and

Qualifications

• Experience delivering engaging training/workshops in employability skills.
• Strong organisational skills to manage a cohort/caseload of learners.
• Willingness to undertake vetting or security clearances as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Employability workshops to groups of circa 10 adult learners, including CV writing, job search and interview techniques.
• Deliver engaging training sessions and provide ongoing Information, Advice and Guidance to learners.
• Be flexible in delivery methods, provide differentiation and adapt to learners’ needs.
• Assist learners in identifying skills to progress toward career goals.
• Demonstrate energy and passion to motivate learners to realise their full potential.

Permanent/4 day working week (Monday – Thursday)

Duties:

• Deliver Employability workshops to groups of circa 10 adult learners – as part of the delivery, you will be required to support learners with CV writing, job search, interview techniques, confidence building etc.
• Deliver engaging training sessions and provide ongoing IAG to learners.
• The successful candidate will be flexible with their delivery methods, providing differentiation and be able to adapt quickly to learners needs.
• Assist learners in identifying the skills required to progress towards their career aspirations.
• The successful candidate must be engaging and able to demonstrate energy and passion to motivate / train learner to realisetheir full potential

Essential Criteria:

• Hold either a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQAORTeaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET).
• Must have experience of delivering engaging training / workshops, within employability skills.
• Organisational skills are a must, and you will manage a cohort / caseload of learners.
• Prepared to undertake any vetting / security clearances, as required for the role.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
