Employability Support Workers assist economically inactive adults, including parents, carers, and those experiencing barriers such as health issues or early retirement, to re-enter the workforce.
The role involves identifying and managing barriers, helping individuals overcome challenges, and guiding them towards pathways back to employment through education, training, or direct support.
Experience working with families with complex needs is essential. Candidates should understand employment issues, job search techniques, interview skills, CV writing, employability skills, and welfare and financial support.
