Job summary

Lincolnshire County Council is seeking an Employability, Personal & Social Development Tutor to deliver engaging sessions to young people aged 16–24. The role is part-time (18.5 hours per week) with two delivery days at the Louth site (Wednesday and Friday) plus departmental duties.

You may hold a teaching qualification or be unqualified with a willingness to train. You will support learners toward their next steps into adulthood and employability, with hybrid working and a contributory pension.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification preferred or willingness to train to become a qualified tutor.
• Experience with vulnerable young people who may have challenging behaviour and/or SEND.
• Able to travel to other sites when required and demonstrate a solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Employability/Personal & Social Development sessions to learners aged 16–24.
• Deliver 2 days per week at Louth site (Wednesday and Friday) plus departmental duties.
• Deliver qualifications from Entry 1 to Level 2 and RARPA based Curriculum.
