Lincolnshire County Council is seeking an English and Maths Tutor to deliver engaging lessons to young people aged 16–24 in Gainsborough. The role is part-time (18.5 hours) across Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, with a focus on helping learners progress from Entry Level to GCSE through adaptive, learner-centred sessions.

The successful candidate will join a small, supportive team and may qualify for a range of benefits, including pension and flexible working options.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification is preferred.
• Experience working with young people and supporting learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver English and Maths sessions to learners aged 16–24.
• Provide qualifications from Entry Level to GCSE.
• Inspire and motivate learners with active, learner-focused teaching.
• Be willing to travel to other sites when required.
