Job summary

You will help students with SEND develop independent living and employability skills, mentor individuals and small groups, and assist with work placements to create real-world learning.

A NVQ Level 3 Vocational or Teaching Assistant qualification with GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Vocational or Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above (or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of how students learn and develop in education.

Responsibilities

• Support the work placement team in meeting the needs of all students, including mentoring and pastoral care.
