SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking an Emissions Monitoring Technician to join our Environment & Safety – Air & Emissions division. You will support MCERTS and UKAS-accredited emissions testing activities on client sites, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safe working practices.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, willingness to travel, and a keen interest in environmental monitoring. We offer flexible working options and a comprehensive benefits package.

We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Emissions Monitoring Technician to join our Environment & Safety team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to support MCERTS and UKAS-accredited emissions testing activities while working safely on client sites. An interest in environmental monitoring is essential to thrive in this position.The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

• Supporting industrial emissions testing at client sites
• Assisting with equipment maintenance and calibration
• Packing and sending samples to accredited laboratories
  

Qualifications
To be a successful Emissions Monitoring Technician, you should be able to demonstrate:

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
• General awareness of environmental legislation
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
