Job summary

SOCOTEC Building Control Limited is seeking a proactive team member to support site monitoring and data entry for GI projects across the UK. You will assist in planning monitoring programmes and ensuring tasks align with specifications, while maintaining high safety and reporting standards.

The role offers flexibility with office and field duties, and opportunities to develop expertise in geotechnical services within a leading TIC provider. A dynamic environment with diverse projects awaits.

Responsibilities

Job Description

You will be joining an experienced and enthusiastic team of staff delivering ground investigation and geotechnical services to our wide ranging client base across the UK.

SOCOTEC work in a wide variety of sectors including major infrastructure for highways and rail, nuclear new build, onshore and offshore energy and environmental.

• Effectively support the business by undertaking site monitoring and office based data entry as instructed by the GI Project Manager.
• Assist with planning the monitoring programme to ensure that work is completed in a timely manner and in line with the specification requirements.
• Be able to work independently to complete monitoring work as required.

Have a minimum level of fitness required to undertake all site based tasks listed above on a variety of sites including active construction sites, sites with difficult access and linear projects for roads and railways.

Qualifications

• Computer literate and competent in use of MS Office to create spreadsheets and documents for effective reporting, communication and record keeping.
