SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a reliable Water Hygiene Technician to join our Environment & Safety division in Oxfordshire. Travelling will be part of the role and a full UK driving licence is required to service sites efficiently.

As a member of our team, you’ll perform tank inspections, cleaning, disinfections, valve checks, water sampling and temperature monitoring, contributing to safe, compliant water systems while developing your skills through training and varied projects across the

Water Hygiene Technician - Oxfordshire

As our company grows and develops, we are ever expanding our teams. We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Water Hygiene Technician to join our Environment & Safety division.

We are looking for someone who is motivated, dependable and committed to join our team. As a member of the Environment & Safety division it is key that you can work efficiently as part of a team as well as having the capabilities to work independently. Due to the nature of the job, travelling will be part of your day-to-day role.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

• Cold water storage tank inspections and recommending remedial works


• Cold water storage tank cleaning and disinfections


• Thermostatic mixing valve failsafe checks and servicing


• Water sampling


• Water temperature monitoring


• Showerhead descaling

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

• A full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel

Note: Once in position, it will be a requirement of the role to obtain MOD Security Clearance.
