SOCOTEC is seeking an Emissions Monitoring Technician to support industrial emissions testing and on-site project delivery. You'll work within the Environment & Safety – Air & Emissions division, contributing to MCERTS/UKAS activities while maintaining safety on client sites.

The role requires a proactive, reliable candidate with an interest in environmental monitoring, willing to travel and adapt to local, national and global projects in a hybrid/remote setup.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• General awareness of environmental legislation.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Emissions Monitoring Technician

We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Emissions Monitoring Technician to join our Environment & Safety team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to support MCERTS and UKAS-accredited emissions testing activities while working safely on client sites. An interest in environmental monitoring is essential to thrive in this position.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

• Supporting industrial emissions testing at client sites
• Assisting with equipment maintenance and calibration
• Packing and sending samples to accredited laboratories

Qualifications

To be a successful Emissions Monitoring Technician, you should be able to demonstrate:

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
