Job summary

Seismic Recruitment seeks an Emissions Certification Engineer for our client in Peterborough (PE1). This is a fully on-site, initial 6-month contract likely to extend, with rates of £18.63 per hour PAYE or £25.27 per hour Umbrella.

You will support emissions certification activities across global markets, prepare and submit amendments, and compile documentation for EPA and CARB, working with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, complete applications while expanding knowledge of diesel

Qualifications

• An engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• Strong analytical and logical-thinking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work methodically with detailed technical information.
• An understanding of diesel engines and emissions control systems.
• The ability to learn quickly, prioritise effectively and work proactively.

Responsibilities

• Support emissions certification activities across a range of global markets.
• Prepare and submit amendments to existing emissions certifications.
• Compile certification applications and supporting documentation for the U.S. EPA and CARB.
• Support model-year rollover certifications and applications for new products.
• Work with engineering, regulatory and other business teams to gather and evaluate technical information.
• Review detailed information, identify inconsistencies and ensure applications are accurate and complete.
• Develop clear procedures and instructions that allow certification processes to be followed consistently.
