Job summary

Seismic Recruitment is seeking an Emissions Certification Engineer in Peterborough (PE1) for an initial 6-month contract on site. You will develop expertise in emissions certification, working with regulatory and engineering teams to ensure compliance across markets.

The role requires an engineering degree, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail. Experience with diesel engines is a plus; training will be provided for internal systems.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• Strong analytical and logical-thinking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with detailed technical information.
• Understanding of diesel engines and emissions control systems.
• Ability to learn quickly, prioritise effectively and work proactively.

Responsibilities

• Support emissions certification activities across global markets.
• Prepare and submit amendments to existing emissions certifications.
• Compile certification applications and supporting documentation for EPA and CARB.
• Support model-year rollover certifications and applications for new products.
• Gather and evaluate technical information with cross-functional teams.
• Review information for inconsistencies and ensure accuracy of applications.
• Develop clear procedures to follow certification processes consistently.
