Job summary

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a Qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) in Tameside as part of the Tameside MHST. The role focuses on delivering evidence-based CBT interventions for children and young people in education settings, with a view to improving mental health and wellbeing.

Applicants must have completed the 1-year EMHP PG certificate and have registration with BABCP or BPS.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the 1-year Post Graduate Certificate Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) course to be shortlisted.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based CBT interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties in education settings.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with schools, families and educators.
• Support empowerment and self-management for young people and families.
• Build strong working relationships within the MHST and wider Pennine Care network.
