Job summary

A new opportunity for an experienced, Graduate Structural Engineer has arisen within a Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy in Stoke. My Client is a professional Civil and Structural Engineering practice who focus on the delivery of building design projects on both a civil structural basis.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Graduate Structural Engineer and is perfectly suited to an individual with around 2 years+ experience (anyone within this level of expertise, or close to, is strongly encouraged to apply). Essentially you will have a very clear passion for structural design and engineering for the built environment and will have gained post-graduate design experience within a consultancy environment.

At this level of experience you can expect to report into and be supported by aSenior Structural Engineer whilst also taking a level of responsibility for your work which will include the completion of structural calculations for all common build materials (steel, concrete, timber and masonry) for structural elements from foundation upwards. 50% of the workload is within the residential sector with a further range of low to mid rise structural based projects to be working on and involved in.

As a consultancy they practice delivers projects across across multiple areas of the construction sector and includes; new build residential, industrial , refurbishment projects, including listed and historical buildings, educational establishments, as well as one-off projects for more bespoke schemes.

Software utilised includes:Tedds, TSD,AutoCAD, CADS R, Revit, RFEM.
