Job summary

Vincera Consulting Ltd is seeking a Structural CAD Technician to join their team in Stoke-on-Trent. The role involves working on diverse projects across the building structures sector, including new builds, refurbishments, and bespoke schemes.

The ideal candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD and have knowledge in traditional build structures. Experience with Revit is a plus, but not required. This role provides an opportunity to engage with projects in residential, industrial, and historical contexts.

Qualifications

Job description

New requirement for aStructural CAD Technician has arisen within a Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy in Stoke. My Client is a professional Civil and Structural Engineering practice who focuses on the delivery of building design projects on both a civil structural basis.

The role of Structural CAD Technician will offer you diversity in projects set across the building structures sector. As a consultancy the practice delivers projects across multiple areas of the construction sector and includes; new build residential, industrial , refurbishment projects, including listed and historical buildings, educational establishments, as well as one-off projects for more bespoke schemes.

Skills:

• AutoCAD proficient within a relevant construction sector i.e.structures and traditional build projects
• Prior experience of traditional build structures is ideal as it willprovide you with knowledge of similar projects to those the consultancy work on especially those of a steel and concrete nature.
• Experience in the production of structural drawings and details in AutoCAD for elements from foundation upwards
• Ability to produce full structural drawing packages (GA's, sections, elevations, plans and detailed drawings)
