Job summary

Strata Construction Consulting UK Ltd is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer in Nottinghamshire. You will support design and delivery of structural solutions across multiple sectors, from concept to completion, working with senior engineers in a collaborative team.

You will design and analyse using steel, concrete, timber, and masonry, prepare calculations and drawings, and gain exposure to site visits and client liaison while pursuing professional chartership.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Approximately 2 years of experience within a UK consultancy environment.
  • Working knowledge of structural design principles and British Standards/Eurocodes.
  • Experience using Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS, MasterSeries or similar.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication and proactive learning approach.

  • Support senior engineers from inception to completion.

An established and growing structural engineering consultancy in Nottinghamshire is looking to recruit a Graduate Structural Engineer with around 2 years' industry experience to join its close-knit and supportive team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer who is looking to build on their early career experience, gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of projects, and work alongside experienced engineers who are committed to professional development.

You'll be involved in projects across residential, commercial, industrial, and education sectors, supporting the design and delivery of structural solutions from concept through to completion.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the design of structural projects using steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
