Job summary

Mitchells & Butler's PLC in the UK invites applicants with experience leading a kitchen team to join our Head Chef in Training programme. Based in your district, you will drive, mentor and develop your team to deliver the Mitchells & Butlers standard of great food and service.

Over six months you will learn how to build a kitchen to the 'Mitchells & Butler's' way, manage food ordering, stock control, and hygiene, with a district support plan so you could have your own kitchen within six months.

Qualifications

• Be a seasoned pro in leading a team and developing a business.
• Be able to drive, to support district training.
• Experience in commercial catering management is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Train and inspire your team to deliver high quality food.
• Manage food ordering, prep and stock control.
• Oversee health and hygiene compliance in the kitchen.
• Lead the kitchen during the six-month training period.
