Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a UK-based Solution Engineer to partner with account teams and partners, translating customer needs into Snowflake-based solutions. You will demonstrate Snowflake technology, run proofs of concept, and help design implementations.

You will stay at the cutting edge of data tech, build technical champions, and collaborate with Product, Engineering and Marketing to move deals forward.

Qualifications

• SaaS solution engineering/solution architect experience.
• Excellent presentation skills for technical and executive audiences.
• Knowledge of data architecture, analytics and cloud tech.
• Hands-on SQL experience.
• Ability to translate customer problems into Snowflake solutions.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Present Snowflake technology and roadmap to executives and technical teams.
• Demonstrate value through demos, PoCs, and design/implementation.
• Develop technical champions to drive deals.
• Stay at the cutting edge of Snowflake features and roadmap.
• Learn competitive tech and position Snowflake accordingly.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and marketing to improve Snowflake’s offerings.
• Represent Snowflake at industry events.
• Work with partners to design joint architectures and account strategies.
• Contribute to account and territory plans with the broader ecosystem.
