Syngenta seeks an experienced Emergency Response Team Safety Manager for our Grangemouth site. This crucial role involves building and managing a compliant emergency response service, adhering to UK regulations and standards. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to enhance your skills in chemical emergency response management, deepen your understanding of regulatory compliance, and hone your abilities in specialized team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Establish and maintain emergency response plans, procedures, and protocols
2. Ensure compliance with evolving UK regulations
3. Manage and improve the effectiveness of the emergency response service
4. Deliver scenario-based training for emergency response and management teams

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in emergency response and safety leadership in industrial settings
• In-depth knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks, HSE guidelines, and COMAH Regulations
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; NEBOSH National Diploma preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience in safety audits, risk assessments, and safety management systems
• Ability to influence operational managers on safety priorities
