Job summary

County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced EPRR Support Manager to provide robust support to the Head of EPRR and act as implementation lead for emergency planning and business continuity across the organisation.

You will work with senior managers to develop policies, lead projects, and ensure training delivery, with a focus on compliance with EPRR standards and civil contingencies requirements.

Qualifications

• Developing plans to improve business continuity capabilities across the organisation.
• Experience of organising workshops and events.
• Implementation of corporate business continuity policies.
• Evidence of applying project management skills including planning and organising resources to support implementation / effective risk management / performance monitoring and evaluation.
• Evidence of successful collaborative and partnership working within and across organisations.
• Evidence of taking the initiative and demonstrating drive, commitment and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Act autonomously and proactively under the Head of EPRR to deliver and maintain the Trust's Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response strategy.
• Be responsible for ensuring the success of project activities such as benefit realisation or change management.
• Attend health and multi-agency EPRR groups providing health liaison and input as well as administrative support.
• Act in a supportive leadership role to EPRR by providing expert advice to the incident management team and ensuring preparedness for major incidents or business continuity events.
• Participate in risk assessment processes, including identifying, quantifying and recording risks.
• Prepare and maintain the Local Health Resilience Partnership (LHRP) Risk Register.
• Support the Head of EPRR in delivering training and exercises, including exercise development and coordination.
• Build and manage relationships within the supply chain to maximise benefits by dovetailing plans together.
