Job summary

East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking a professional educator to deliver education, training and assessment for EOC staff and clinical teams. The role supports mandatory training, CPD, and clinical governance to improve patient care outcomes.

You will work with the EOC team to mentor staff, coordinate learning opportunities, and participate in audits while adhering to Trust policies and safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• Teaching or assessing qualification, or willingness to work towards one
• Portfolio of CPD evidence showing commitment to personal development

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional education, training and learning opportunities for clinical and non-clinical EOC colleagues
• Provide training, development and assessment for clinical staff to JRCALC, awarding body and local standards
• Provide statutory and mandatory training for all EOC staff
• Provide assessment and mentoring that contributes to patient care quality and clinical outcomes, working with clinical governance and managers
• Give specialist educational support and guidance to EOC Clinical Hub team members
• Improve the dissemination of learning within the EOC and support staff CPD, working with the EOC Senior Clinical Leader
• Participate in and support clinical audit activities
• Support delivery of the Trust's learning and development agenda within agreed workforce and business plans
• Ensure compliance with Trust policies on patient safety, including risk management, infection prevention and control, and safeguarding
