Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust advertises a Trust Registrar role for doctors seeking to develop a special interest while maintaining patient-facing practice. Posts include 2 days per fortnight on your chosen speciality, plus education and career development opportunities with practical ED care.

The positions support supervision and scheduled educational opportunities, though not recognised UK training posts. Close attention to essential criteria is required for shortlisting.

Formación

• Full GMC registration and MBBS or equivalent.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and NHS familiarity.
• Current MRCEM, ATLS/ALS/APLS in date, IAC in anaesthetics or airway skills.
• Minimum 4 years in Emergency Medicine or related fields.

Responsabilidades

• Provide care with responsibility for ED patient management.
• Refer patients to other specialties when needed.
• Participate in dedicated special interest day weekly.
• Engage in multidisciplinary teams and meetings.
• Contribute to administration duties and clinical governance.
• Teach and supervise junior medical staff and clinicians.
• Involvement in audit and service improvement activities.
