UHNM in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking an Emergency Medicine Matron (Band 8a) to provide senior leadership for nursing and allied health professionals. The role leads governance, quality and patient safety initiatives while working with the Directorate team to deliver service improvements and staff development.

The post is full-time, permanent, offering 37.5 hours per week with some weekend on-call. Salary £57,528–£64,750 per annum and a DBS-compliant environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Current UK registration as a nurse (First Level).
• Degree-level nursing education completed.
• Proven ongoing management development or leadership training.

Responsabilités

• Provide senior leadership to nursing and AHP teams to meet priorities.
• Develop, implement and monitor quality and business plans with clinical staff.
• Promote effective communication and governance across directorates.
• Support staff development and drive service improvement initiatives.
• Ensure robust systems for patient experience and governance.
