Job summary

University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust (UHNM) invites applications for a Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse in Major Trauma & Orthopaedics at Royal Stoke University Hospital. The role is based on Ward 227 – Acute Trauma Rehabilitation Unit, with a focus on patient safety and staff development.

The successful candidate will work as a Senior Staff Nurse for Quality, assisting the senior team to maintain standards and lead on care improvements.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse on NMC Register.
• Minimum 2 years post-registration experience in an acute setting.
• Experience in trauma and orthopaedics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient safety and support staff development.
• Support the senior team on ward management and patient care.
• Assist with leadership and ensure high standards of care.
