Job summary

Brent Council is seeking a dedicated Emergency Placement Housing Officer to join the Emergency Housing Placement Team in Wembley. You will assess suitability, identify and secure emergency accommodation, and manage bookings on a rota basis, with some home working days.

Experience in homelessness or temporary accommodation is essential; knowledge of housing IT software is advantageous. Role offers hybrid working options and a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct suitability assessment on homelessness applicants referred to you.
• Search for and identify suitable accommodation ensuring housing compliance is met.
• Allocate accommodations to referred homelessness applicants and ensure booking processes are completed.
