Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Gas Escape Engineer to collaborate with Cadent on emergency response calls across the Beds & Herts area. You will receive full training, including CODNESP1, with direct Cadent coaching before going live on assignments.

In this role you will restore gas supplies promptly, handling internal and external escapes, pressure issues, and pipework re-runs. You will also conduct surveys, re-connections after disconnections, and maintain high safety standards

Qualifications

• Experience in gas industry including gas appliances, testing, purging and commissioning of pipework.
• Experience with installation, replacement, and maintenance of gas meters.
• Understanding of Standards, Legislation, Codes of Practice and Health and Safety.

Responsibilities

• Restore customers' gas supply quickly and safely after gas escapes.
• Respond to internal and external gas escape reports from the public.
• Maintain safe working practices and comply with Cadent/Gas Safe requirements.
